The Manjuyod White Sandbar is a pristine 7-kilometer stretch of premium white sand, on which four cottages have been built on stilts.  During high tide, the cottages appear to be floating on water.

Also known as the Sumapao Shoal, the sandbar is part of an estimated 600-hectare strip (including the submerged areas), and is just a short boat ride from Capiñahan Wharf in the South Bais Bay, Bais City Negros Oriental.  It is a popular stopover during dolphin and whale watching tours such as the one we took last August 11.
